Cheese & Kisses (Non-Hershey's!) - part 3 - the kiss!

Readers,

Well . . . it "finally" happened.

At the beginning of the month I ran a letter from Cheese and her Mom in two parts. You can jump to part two by clicking HERE.

At the end of that post you'll see a comment from Mom updating us all on how it went.

  1. Dear Person.

personally.. i wouldnt consider myself the perfect Mormon.. i just turned 17, and well i came from Mexico and noticed something really different.. over there.. when i made out with a girl that wasnt my girlfriend.. it meant nothing.. but here in the USA if you make out with someone thats not your girlfriend, then its something bad..

is it bad to keep doing what i did in Mexico?

  2. Well . . . I don't consider you perfect, either. In fact, I'm not even certain I consider you decent or good, and that has nothing to do with what religion you follow.

Kissing someone passionately, girlfriend or otherwise, NEEDS to mean something. To do it without caring or regard for the other person shouldn't happen anywhere in the world.

It's too bad that this important sign of affection has grown to mean nothing in your life. How sad. And pathetic.

You used those girls you made out with for your own personal gratification, and whether they liked being disrespected by you or not, it wasn't right.

I have no problem with 17-year old dates sharing an occasional kiss, but what you're talking about is something altogether different. Knock it off, if you're man enough apologize to those girls for your lack of respect, and pray I never find out where you go to school lest I warn every girl within 50 miles about you and your lips dry up and fall off for lack of moisture.

"Is making out with people who mean nothing bad" . . . um, yeah, dude, it is.

  3. Dear Person..

  4. Well . . . while I agree that it's wonderful to be that good looking and kissable, it's still disrespectful. If the store clerk leaves the register open, it's not okay to steal the cash, even if she tells you she doesn't care.

  6. So . . . does that mean you missed my stuff on why it's a bad idea to have a girlfriend pre-mission?

(and to everyone else: does the idea that this guy treats his girlfriends - plural - with respect but not his make-out girls say something to you?)
